Would someone have handy the part number for the adapter that reduces the 5 1/8" air cleaner opening so it will fit the Carter AFB 4 1/8" neck? Either Jegs , Summit or somewhere. Thanks as always.
I've heard this one asked a lot of times in the past in Nailhead circles. The answer has always been the same - there isn't one. So if you would please, kind sir, let us have a manufacturer and part number, that would help out an entire community greatly. My local NAPA doesn't have anything resembling speed parts on display, so I'd need to 'help' them with a part number.
I got mine from napa the nubers on yhe package sais 735-4931 made by balkamp. Mr. gasket also makes one I think Jegs or maybe speedway had them.
Dug Brandon is right on with the addaptor # $3.29at NAPA. I show the air cleaner like in the picture ( it comes with the addaptors) as 735-4898 $20.56. Judd
Jegs also has them them part# 720-2082 thats the Mr. Gasket one, but after shipping you might as well go to napa.
