I was wondering, how much of a difference does a stock style air cleaner affect performance compared to a open style? I had an open style on the Riv, but I like the look of the original much more. i think I can feel a difference but I'm not really sure. Anybody have any idea?
Supposidely an open element is worth 5-10 hp over a factory air cleaner assembly. Plus an open element setup sounds better when the secondaries open up.
