Ok that is just VERY funny be being in the north isn't!! I'm really starting to hate it and I was born here! I haven't taken my truck out of the driveway since the first snow we had because I don't want the salt starting on it and the Buick projects here are called "rustorations", not "restorations"! I'm heading to FLA for the holidays and I may just never come back! Either that or I need to build a BIG garage and find a way to afford to keep it at 70 degrees till summer comes back. Very funny!! I can relate to the part where he falls butt over tea-kettle. Without prior warning, you're staring up at your boots, with the sky as the backdrop. You're on the way down for a hard, hard landing. Happens at least once a year.
Brrrr. It was a cold one this morning in NJ. 11 degrees when I hopped in my truck to go to work. March can't come soon enough.

Had this happen to a guy I know. He was in the hospital for a LONG stay. Was lucky someone else was there or he likely would have frozen to death! He made ALMOST a full recovery but now he can't smell at all!! Said food doesn't really have much taste without a smell. Ken
You southerners are funny. When I was living in Inuvik they had a saying: "If you can see the sun during the day you don't get to be a northerner" -70 up there... It's only -19 today in Calgary...warm and toasty!!
