Hey guys. I am in need of an alternator bracket for my 430. the lower one mainly. I am using on off my olds 350 but i dont trust it, so i was wondering if anyone could send me one. I will pay, of course, or take it off your hands for free. :)

Also, i was wondering what i do to stop oil from spraying out of my oil dipstick hole when i hit the gas at all.

    thanks

This usually requires a new set of rings. No biggy!

Check your PCV system. You have too much crankcase pressure. If PCV is OK, Bad Brad might be on to something

yes it is because of too much crankcase pressure. when i had a guy do some wiring, he put a pcv valve in the valve cover but plugged it. where do i run a hose from this to?

Well I wouldn't let that guy anywhere near my car if I was you. The PCV on a buick plugs into the rear of the intake manifold. If the car has a quadrajet, there is a 3/8" hose that comes out the front of the carb, and connects to the PCV valve. The valvecover has a hose that connects to the air cleaner housing. If you have an aftermarket 360* air cleaner, stick a breather in the valvecover, don't plug it up.

okay thats what i thought, so i have a pcv in the intake and now i just attach one to the air cleaner from valve cover. great, thanks!
