Shouldn't the mounting tabs and everything else on this coolant take be on the opposite side???? Here's what I'm talking about....o No: o No:
Believe that is one for a Boat car he mistakenly thinks is for an A body. Plus he needs a donor nipple and nipple welder. Hard to find either.
I bought one of these last spring. NOS. For $40. I thought I found one of those $700 models for cheap. Then I looked at the one one my '71 Skylark. Gee, there seems to be a difference. I got out of it for about what I had in it. No harm. I suppose after they start reproducing the A-body models, the big car bottles will sell for the big bucks.
Adam: Unfortunately that all happened before I found this board. Sold it on the evil ebay. I know it got a ton of looks and I sold it to someone in Wisconsin for about $50. Today I'd do it different. Bob
That's the one. Buyer's name was Bruce D. If the lid had been good I'd have kept that. I belive they are the same as the A-body lids.
He's a member of this board. 68LESABRE4DR Super cool guy! He's saving it for me when he puts the correct one on his 68:TU: I gave him a lid with a good cap tail on it, so it's complete now. A Body lids will fit, but the placement on the lid and letters are different.
I remeber something about him buying it for a friend. Sound's like it all works out in the end. Good luck!
