Will do from post #54 on. When I do show a working link I actually copy down on a piece of paper the links letters up top Some are like 80 letters and symbols Pretty pathetic on my part isn't it.
No, not really. At least you found a way to post a link. Like with everything in life: when nobody shows you how to do it, you will never learn.... It's not complicated when you know how to do it!
The car weighs 2850 lbs, I would think 400 to 450 hp would bring it to its claimed 11.90 from what members have said on other cars in general. Again that engine although sounding ok with some throttling it was still just to smooth. Has iron heads also and don't think there was much porting or if any done at all.. Ad 1000 lbs and your in GS territory and doing a 12.90 as a guess. No way that AMC 401 is making Buick 455 Stage2 power..
Thanks NH 67. Thats the thing no one immediately around me knows enough to help me and I got my first ever laptop 5 or 6 years ago.
I believe that they won the Trans-Am championship in (I think) 1968. They also won a few NASCAR Winston Cup races.
AMC also owned Jeep from 1970 to 1986 the cj jeep’s got renamed the wrangler when Chrysler took it over in 87
https://www.motortrend.com/events/h...-ultimate-iron-class-leader-bryant-goldstone/ Bryant Goldstone' s javelin ran a 6.63 in the quater during drag week. Yeah it's BBC powered but it's still an AMC.
I have only owned one AMC - it was a 1954 Statesman with a back seat that folded down into a full-sized bed.
