This one has hit CL for a few months. Perhaps they are motivated. http://denver.craigslist.org/cto/1577151145.html
WOW. .. and reasonably priced too! SOMEONE snatch this one up before some dufus gets it! Wheelz, Tampa Bay
I am confused, seller states the car has cruise then says it doesn't have cruiseo No: Decent price for a driver. I am suprised that the car is available still. Maybe if it were a different color? I remember a great deal onm a 70 Stage 1 in that color a couple years back. It too sat unsold for a long time on this board.
This car is a twin to my '70 S1 ... right down to all color and power options. You don't see many this loaded with options. As far as the Bamboo Cream, well ... if it's original and in nice shape, wadda you gonna do?
Bamboo Cream is a beautiful color! I restored a 70 GS 455 with that color a few years back. Pontiac called the same color Sierra Yellow which better describes it light bright Yellow hue
Chevrolet called it Crocus Yellow ... other GM Divisions called it other names. It took me years to get used to it.
I don't like it. I don't like the ad and the seller's comments. First, they have it stored in a neighbor's garage? 2nd - this is not the kind of car Craigs List was made for. Run an ebay ad, show high resolution photos of all the important stuff. I know it's tough dealing with the tire kickers sometimes, but I would rather bend over backwards then give "warnings" not to contact me - in my ad or auction. Finally, this guy was not in it for the long haul. Wants to sell after 2 years and move on to another project. Has it in the neighbors garage and uses CL to sell it. He should be on this forum, selling among friends.
