Another 72 dash question

is there an idiot light ---opposite side from the "GEN" lite?
If so what is it? Thanks again Pete

Or do we need to know which car you're on about ?

On my car(70GS), I think it is the brake warning light.

Not sure exactly what you are asking but hope this helps. My '72 Skylark came with the idiot lights only. There are four indicator lights with white lettering for HOT, OIL, BRAKE, and GEN. At the 6 0'clock position is an indicator light which is labeled FASTEN SEAT BELTS when lit. Hope this answers your question.

Sorry ou: should be more specific 72GS 455 -3 round dash pods---the speedometer
pod has 2 smalll lites one at 7 oclock(GEN) in red the one at 5 oclock
is what I'm wondering about. Pete

 

That would be the Brake light
You are talking about the gauge pod, right? the speedo should have two turn signal indicators and a PRNDL2L1 in the middle
