That's not a lot to go on. My advice? DON'T call the radio station in your area, they will laugh and laugh at you! We get these calls all the time. Is there any more you can remember?

Rock On, by David Essex a slow moody type of song. Man am I getting old--remember when that came out sometime in the early 70's. I probably have the LP stored somewhere in the basement :Brow: or was it an 8 track :Dou:

Anthony, are you SURE that "Rock On" by David Essex isn't, in fact, the song you are thinking of? Do you know that song? It's the only one I can think of like that!

I listened to it on Windows Media Player, it's not that. Let me try David Bowie.

I know the song you are talking about. Is it Joe Walsh, Sting, or Steve Miller Band? For some reason, I have a feeling its one of the 3 I listed, but I could be wrong. I dont think its Bowie.

I retract my previous post. After doing a lyrics search, the song I was thinking about was in fact Rock On by David Essex. Sorry for any confusion.

I think "Goodbye to You" is the Motels. But then Scandal sounds right, too.

Having seen Jow Ealsh about 7,000 times and listened to every one of his albums about 8,000,000 times, I can't recall any song where he says Rock On, Rock On.

I'm glad you figured out it was David Essex.

... James Dean... ooo my soul...
