I'm considering a "4 point" Roll Bar, in the Back Seat of the car. Where would I look to find someone who sells them as a kit?:Do No: I'd just like to buy the Roll Bar assembly, and be able to install it myself.:TU:

I'm not sure if they have a 4 point kit or not but, I bought my 8 point roll bar from S&W Racecars out of Pa. http://www.swracecars.com/
I had a friend of mine install it and he said it was a very nice kit. It cost about $150 for the kit and another $50 for the "pro street" bars for the back. They follow the roof line and go through the speaker shelf so the back seat is still usable. Hope that helps.

AWESOME, KEN! THANKS for the INFO!:bglasses: THAT looks EXACTLY like what I was looking for!

You said it's a "kit", so you can just put it in "through the doors", and install it? I won't be able to remove the Body at all, so I need something "simple". If THAT works, I may buy the FULL Cage for my '70 GS that I just bought, and do something with that one, too!:bglasses: :TU:

Mine came as a kit which includes the main hoop, the pro street bars, the front bars and the small bars that go from the hoop to the driveshaft tunnel area and will need welded all together. It also came with plates to weld to the floor and then weld the bars to them. On my car, we used a hole saw to cut the floor and welded the bars right to the frame, I believe that is how it is supposed to be done to be NHRA legal. The bars will take some trimming to fit correctly also. The guy I had do it is a welder by trade and has done a several rollbars. He said alot of the time is spent fitting the bars and trimming them to get them to fit just right. Don't expect it to be a quick job. Good luck.

I don't ever expect a "quick" job, I always expect a "correct" job! It sounds pretty good, though. I'll keep you posted with it...:TU:
