Any body from around Elberton GA?

Is anybody from around here? Has anybody even heard of Elberton?

 

I've heard of it. Think I may have even driven through it. :shock:
But I don't think I could point it out on a map...

I used to live in Athens
(NO, I did not go to UGA)

 

Elberton is almost due east of Athens all the way on the South Carolina border. It is about a 45 minute drive, if you're fast. :Brow:

To be honest, I have been everywhere around Elberton, but I have never been to Spartanburg.

most small towns have no night life and tend to go dead around ~8pm. this is referred to euphemistically as 'rolling up the sidewalks'.

 

Elberton has no life. Ever. The sidewalks are always rolled up.
