I'd check out the import boards

There are a lot of import guys doing this. I know that there was some discussion of this back when I was on an Eagle Talon list. There have also been writeups on this in several of the import magazines I have seen. I know that powdercoating is a popular option for BMW guys that want to keep their rims looking nice too. I guess the stock plastic coating they used to throw on those nice aluminum rims wasn't too durable.

What I always wanted to do was my wrenches and sockets -- English one color and Metric the other. It would keep them looking nice, and make them easier to pick through. I also thought that if I was ambitious, I would do the whole outside of the motor, as well as the air cleaner and all of the accessory brackets. You could find all of the right colors and gloss levels, and it would sure make it all easy to keep clean. It would be nice to never have to worry about the paint on the valve covers again.

If you find any info, send it my way, if you please.
