I want to pull my matching numbers motor and replace it with another 70 455 I am going to buy from a guy who lost interest. It's in pieces with the block .030 over and the crank 10/10. The heads need to be redone but I believe the cam, pistons, and rods are new in boxes. Any suggestions? Thanks!
you could try a place called AMT.i have never dealt with them, but they do a lot of engines around here.or in overland missouri there is a place called DEPENDABLE machine shop i hear the owner is partial to buicks.
It is a hour and half away but I am using a guy in Mexico, Mo. This is my second rebuild and he is a diehard Buick guy. He can do your heads and everything. My first rebuild was a stock rebuild, this one is much more than that. He has been doing Buicks for over 20 years. His shop is called Mexico Performance Center. If you have any questions let me know and I can give you my phone # and get you in touch with him..... It will be worth the drive I can assure you.....
