I feel like I'm missing out since I haven't been to any shows yet this summer, and would like to initiate this thread to maybe get people on the board who are going to any kind of car shows-showing, or just gathering-with Buicks especially-to let everyone else know. So that more of us can hook up at the shows with our Buicks I know there is a shows/clubs section for this, but it doesn't neccessarily cover the spirit of this idea. There are only a few recent postings there about shows. And If I guessed right, this portion of the board is sorta the "in general" everyday stuff area, and maybe this section gets read more than the others? I'd personally like to know of any shows in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin, etc. (I know I can find em on the web, and have, but I want people to hook up with their Buicks!) Christopher :TU:

car show CHRIS and TOM, yesterday i talked to the parts manager at LOREN BUICK in glenview. they have a buick car show tomorrow AUGUST 7TH from 9.00am-200pm. he told me all buicks welcome and no entry fee. tomorrow is supposed to be mid 70s and sunny. think ill take the GSX and check it out.
Chris, you can check the message board on our website, chicagolandbuick.org. There is a cruise/show forum, along with a list of cruises left that we're attending. Unfortunatley, the summer is winding down already. But it's a place to start. A bunch of us will be at the Loren Buick show that 1badgs mentioned. Hope this helps a little... ShariB
Shari, we'd be there but our block party is happening all day saturday. If you guys want to give us a thrill please feel free to come by and visit us after the show. It would be great to see you and Loyd before Salem and if you can bring other Buick folk for a little R&R that would be awesome. We are very close to the Touhy/ Edens exit. Either way have fun at the Loren show, and we'll see you in a week in Ohio. Dana
