Ok, the red dragon is almost back in action. I should be picking up my driveshaft tomorrow. (5 speed install). I did up a stage 2 hood & want to transfer the rear chrome moulding onto this hood. Any Ideas on how do do it w/out chipping paint????
First start by making sure the chrome wasn't damaged on removal. Look for any narrow areas that can cause a problem. I use emory paper to smooth out the inside lip and just have blind trust in the painter that hes got the hood painted well. I was able to push mine on by hand part of the way then used a rubber hammer very light taps back and forth until it was seated. Mine was done on a base clear with lots of layers of paint
