It's not the car in the photo, he says:
That car is already sold and was located in Rockville, Maryland.

That was built on the "K" platform, it used a lot from the '75-'79 X platform. The tub was "stretched" several inches, and a vinyl landau top covered the factory welds. Used a late seventies X Subframe, control arms, 8.5 inch rear axle. it did have rear discs, and a 5 x 5 wheel bolt pattern.

5x5 BC & rear discs came online for '77.

There is very very little shared with the X-cars. It was initially derived from that, but so much changed during development that the remaining that interchanges straight up is; the trunk pan, the basic front subfame and the rear axle housing. And there was still a ton of fine-tuning, with mounts, bushings, isolators, Teflon interliners, struts, U-joints and (11!) shocks.

I thought these were good looking cars in their day.

I had two 76s , great cars only problem developed leaky fuel injectors after higher mileage.
Only cars I played Frank Sinatra in .

I've had a few of this generation. Back in the 90's it was my DD train car. Would occasionally spit fire back thru the FI. Miss those days.
