Actually I was looking at my 65 Lesabre brochures and it had custom two tone paint. I was thinking of 2 toning my car before I saw that and Im really curious as to where they two toned from. Thanks for the pic. Dom
More than likely the two tone dividing line would be exactly where the vinyl top dividing line would be. That's the way it was from 66-up.
I was thinking of two toning my 65 Lesbre at the body line just under the door handle. Have you seen any like that? Wow! Original paint. Do you have any other pics of the interior? I would like to see em' Dom
I've only seen one 65 Lesabre painted 2 tone black above the waistline and silver below. '65's are my favorite year, but that one did not do it for me.
I saw that one. I cant find it anymore. Do you have a link to the black and silver lesabre? Thanks, dom
Tu-tone wildcat Here is a pic of a 65 Wildcat where the present owner has chosen a two tone paint scheme. It's a soft beige above the beltline as well as under the lower bodyline molding. It's a very nice and thorough, but not original, restauration done by the owner Jan, who is a member of our danish Buick club.
