Like wise. I know much more about boating/fishing then I know about Buicks. My dad threw my ass in the lake and wouldn’t let me out till was on ski’s. I think I learned at 7. By 10 I was already a cocky **** salom skiing. The things I wish I could do now beating on my body to show my son. I would lay it down so far my shoulder would be touching the water. Learned how to ski not even getting wet off a pier. Fishing was always after dinner during no wake.

Some of the fondest memories are on the water. Trips to Canada and ruffing it out. We didn’t do guides or cabins. Heck I can vividly remember my first Canada trip. It’s pooring, straight winds, and lightening. We’re in the cabbage on a drift in a TIN boat with graphite rods. I’m bailing the boat out with one hand and my dad is taking our fish off that we were eating that night. It was one pike after another. Back trolling and sitting in a tin boat from 5am-10pm. We did our own minnow traps. Got our minnows. Packed as much fluid as we could. Everything was in the boat that we needed. I will say looking back thank god nothing as small as breaking an arm or a leg. The nearest gas station was 2hrs away. We’d get most of what we needed when we crossed through international falls. The potato thing still cracks me up. Piles of potatoes at the boarder. We bathed in the lake. Used the lake water for our cooking. Most of the money that was spent was on gas, ice, and beer.
You never knew how what to pack for. We always shot for late June. Sometimes the ice would just be getting out.

I have never owned a boat - I have owned about every other form of transportation. I also have never owned a railroad locomotive, but I have rented and operated one. I doubt seriously that I ever will own a boat, but those mahogany inboard speedboats are serious eye candy.
If I were actually going to get a boat, it probably would be something like Tom's.

You’re probably referring to the vintage Chris craft boats. Those are a treat to see on the water. Those guys aren’t shy why putting some Hp in those things

Yup, and don't forget Century. I think there may have been a couple of others.
