    Hello,
I am interested in getting some feedback on replacing the existing exhaust system with Flowmasters. It will change the sound, but is this a bad thing, or is it best to keep it original?
    thanks

    Purely your own personal taste.

My taste is to keep it quiet, and let the noise come out of the carb. But it's up to you.

My 68 GS350 had Flowmasters on when I bought it. I don't care for them, but haven't decided what to change to yet. I would prefer a little quieter exhaust, but it's tolerable.

    flowmasters

I had dual exhaust and flowmasters installed on the 69 Wildcat with a 430 in it. Made a different beast out of the car. :TU: Only thing is its a little noisy cruising down the highway at certain speeds, but the dual exhausts and flowmasters sure made it run alot better :)

With all the sheet metal under the full size you will get a loud drone at some speeds. You might what to include an X pipe or resonators at the quarters to quiet it down (with no impact on flow).
