Hey Greg, as bad as Packer fans think the Vikes are, it still took last second field goals both games this year, for the Pack to get the wins. If GB had a defense, they might be legit Super Bowl contenders, but it just ain't so... Harvey, even though I've already emptied my donation wallet for the board, I'll take the Vikes for $10. Straight up, no points. I do think they are capable of winning, but I wouldn't bet my paycheck on them. Of course, that's been the case for my life as a purple fan. I grew up with a knot in my stomach from watching choke after choke. The '98 failure was the final straw. Yeah, I still follow them, but after all these years of frustration, I've learned to just shrug them off. They are what they are. If only Red McCombs would sell them to someone willing to spend up to the cap...
I think Moss' deal is nothing more than frustration. He's been severely hampered by injuries this season, you can see he hasn't been able to make cuts like he used to. And it has to wear on the offense, when it doesn't matter how many points you score, 'cause you know your defense will give up more.

I may NOT watch it at all... When I was in my teens, wild horses couldn't drag me away from a Vikes game on tv. These days, I'm more than content to catch a few minutes here and there, while I do something else that really matters. Tom, it was pretty disappointing to see Moss walking off the field early. Up til that point, he appeared to have been maturing since his earlier seasons. I've come to view him as somewhat of a cancer on this team. They need to trade him to the Cowboys for a bunch of draft picks, to get even for the Herschel Walker fiasco. :spank:
Don't feel bad John, there probably aren't too many of us Vikings fans that would have put money down on them to win today. But I still felt they had a chance to pull it off. After all, it took last second field goals in both reg season games for GB to win those games. And MN played a very competetive game against Philly earlier this year too, 27-16. and it was a closer game than the score. And with TO out of the picture, you just never know... :grin:
