Anyone going to be at US 41 tonite?

Short notice but I am going to do something that I never thought I would do ou: , take my 64 GTO to the track. US 41 in Morocco, IN. I have to redo some exhaust manifolds and fix a few small leaks so if I was ever going to go now is the time. Should be there by 5pm.

I agree with Steve. We should all try to get together one more time before the snow falls.

 

:3gears: I will be there tomorow with the Fairlane.Lets try to get a bunch of guys together before they close at the end of November.

 

Unfortunately my show car was sputtering, missing, etc...... probably a combo of never driving it, bad gas, timing, plugs since 2003 but on a good note we unhooked the tow vehicle, a 2011 F150 with the Ecoboost and ran a 14.35 @ 95.xx Blew me away ! :TU:

 

I've been out of town a few times and my mom in and out of the hospital a few times (currently still in recovering from emergency appendectomy), so I haven't even thought about the car.

However, I do want to make it to US41 sometime in Nov. I'm thinking perhaps middle or end of the month.

 

This Saturday and Sunday looks good weather wise I am going one of those 2 days .Lets get something going.Steve

 

I can't make Sat as I have to work. Sunday, well, depends on the situation with my mom.

I saw we just start shooting for Sundays in Nov. I know some guys are thinking the 6th, but I will be out of town. I could probably do the 13th, 20th or 27th. However, I believe the 20th is the MCACN show in Rosemont (Chicago)

FINAL DAY OF THE SEASON!

 

We are planning for Sunday Nov 6, trying to avoid the Saturday brackets. My car is getting a new rear gear today/tomorrow, won't be ready for 41 this weekend yet. Should have a decent size crew Nov 6.

 

I am going tomorrow the weather looks good 57 and sunny with a 10-15 tail wind.Last week there wasn't more than 50 or 60 cars there not much waiting.

I'm going to try and shoot for Sun Nov 13. Depending on what goes on with Munson and the new house, he's gonna try that date also.

 

As long as the weather looks good, and nothing else comes up, I will try and make it on the 13th.

I will try to but lets look at the forcast for sat or sun depending on weather .They only had around 35 cars on sat.

Myself and a few others are still planning to go this weekend, as I'm out of town the 12-13th. We were going to do Sunday, but there is a 22 mph wind advisory from the south. Thinking it's going to be Saturday instead, but we're up in the air at this point. Figured I'd throw this out there in case anybody is considering running this weekend as well.

 

I have a couple of auctions to go to on sat and sunday is out also.Next week if the weather holds sounds good.

 

just got back from being out of town for the week. Tomorrow looks better than sunday, but I'm busy tomorrow. I'm still planning on sunday.
