    air bagged 61 Lesabre

done by professional shop in Cleveland

now in Australia and been used as a daily driver

been on the road 1 month down here and doing 100 mile round trip every day

run front bags at about 120 pounds
    rears at about 60 pounds

noticed last week front RH side was lower than it should be, investigated and found this:

I do bleed the bags each night, so maybe it's the re-filling each morning that has put undue strain on the shock tower mount and cracked it through. These tower mounts take the full weight of the car being a shockwave air bag , the air back does not sit in a cup or in the tower plate like a normal shock. It really puts the entire weight of the car into this one very small area.

Now I need to come up with a re-enforcement solution. Re-weld this in and maybe a new plate the the chassis.

That's true, the shock isn't desinged to carry the weight of the car. You may be able to repair the area, then add a ring of metal around it, like an anti-ballon plate on a torque converter.
