I see they have an add in the Minneapolis yellow pages, so I called them about rechoming some stuff like vent window frames. He said he needs to see the parts to give an idea of the cost and lead time. That is reasonable, but I would like to hear from some other customers before driving all the way over there. Has anyone dealt with them? How is their service, price and quality? Thanks, Joel
Never dealt with them. Good platers with decent turn around are not too common it seems. A local plater lost the ability to do pot metal when they moved due to enviromental laws. I called Paw Paw plating over the summer, they weren't taking any more new work for two months. Finishing Touch in Chicago is great....not cheap, six week turn around, but the stuff is like jewelry.
Plating Joel; I have never had any plating done there. I have brought my stuff to (Northstar? Norstar?) located in Brainerd MN. But I can tell you, that I have heard good things about plating specialties. I have never seen any of there work that I have known about. If you would like I will find out more information about them? Also, if you need any help? let me know.

Update Joel; Bottom line; pursue other opportunities. The rod guys around here have not been happy with there product. Very long turn around time, and not show quality on there equipment. I was told that on some of the grills that were done. The chrome wasn't fininshed around the edges and would flake off. Also, overpriced plating. Remember, This is not my opinion. I have never had anything done by them. Doesn't sound like I will either. But If you do go there, let me know if I can be any help.
