    thanks brad for the help.

been burned before($15,000) trying to make reproduction parts, so i get touchy like mike and others. you try and do a good thing for people/cars and you know what happens. its not a good feeling.
    so, here i go again.

some radiator hoses are not available anymore and this is a chance to remake them. IF, participation is equal to the minimum required. dayco is sending me info to look at. when i get it, i will report back.

btw, a lot of you guys really dont know me and probably think i'm a jerk or something, you even think i'm crazy. but, i will tell you this, i am one of the most passionate buick guys you will ever meet about our buicks.

now, any real questions or needs about buicks.

(john is a little cranky right now)

    John,

I would be one of those guys that don't know ya, so Hi, I'm Dave. My pleasure, lol. As far as the names/things you mentioned that some may be thinking.............just my opinion here, but ANYONE that takes on a deal like this HAS to be pasionate about these cars. And I applaude you for it.:beer :beer .

As far as real questions.......what cars/years are we talking here ? If any of the earlier ones(64-7) are in question I would buy some maybe..... If you would please, give us an idea as to what years/models/etc. your refering to. I am not much into the whole show thing yet cause I am still racing. But I always figured someday I would stop and try and have a show car to still participate. I have a 67' that I am just starting that I would like to "look" correct, but thats about it now.

    Thanks for your dedication.........................

Maybe so, but I'm having a heck of a time helping with Drew's 10th grade geometry...hey, it's been 30 years since I did any of that crap!

gsjohnny - it's hard to answer without knowing which years and which hoses are not available. Mine are fine right now, but if they're not available for a 70 GS 455 Stage 1, then I would be interested in rat-holing a set for the future.

you guys are just to funny :)

but seriously, there are hoses that are not made anymore(65 gs). i will look at dayco's and gates catalog to see what is still available and what's left for tooling. if tooling has to be made, it will depend on how much. goodyear is not around here so i do not what they still make.

this will be a non-profit deal. just cover what i spend in dollars(just never tell my wife!!!). my time is free.(stupid me).

    stay tuned
