I am trying to find a good front disc brake setup to replace mine.

some part of mine (either the caliper or the brake pads inside) rattle when im driving down a rough street.

its not bad, but after awhile it starts to bother you.

anybody know of a good kit that i can use to replace the stock brakes with better performing brakes?

also, can i use my stock power brake boost if i were to convert the rears to disc's also?

car is a 69 wildcat custom.

    thanks

I don't know if this will help, but there is a thread on the Car Craft Forum about putting a B body spindle on the 78 and G bodies and some magazines ran articles about using the B body spindle on 64 to 72 A bodies also, but they also had to use custom upper control arms to get the alignment space they needed. The spindles I'm talking about are the 78 up B body spindles. On the A bodies, they give a slight lowering, but their main use is to allow the use of the 11" and 12" rotors off the Caprices and police packages. Will they work in B body to B body swap? I do not know for sure, but H-O Racing used to make a kit for the swap to A bodies, so they may know something. Sorry I don't have a link to them. Good Luck

Stock rotors with a good high quality pad will stop the car more than adequately...

Spend the extra $$ and trouble on something that needs more improvement:TU:

well money is being spent on engine, tranny, driveshaft, differential with disc's, wheels...

so i figured there was room for improvement on the front brakes also.
