Yah but from the research I've done the new b4b's relocated carb pad and smaller runners take away the small HP advantage it used to have over the performer so I hesitate to pay the price for a new one that performs worse than the old ones.
Mike i have a buddy thats got one forsale i'll get pics and a price for you this week sometime if your still interested email me at sheliacooke@eastlink.ca for the pics
I have one brand new in the box that was originally purchased around 25 years ago. I'm not sure if it's the same as the one currently manufactured.
Stratoblue, Please pm me with details. I'm going to give beaumontsd a chance first but I'd like to have the right of first refusal on yours since this is my thread after all.
Guy, and anyone else, I have a B4B used in very good condition unaltered. FYI the "Performer" is the one to use if you want to retain the useage and location of the functional hood scoops on the GS, the B4B works better, but the carb location won't match up with the scoop ports on the hood. Guy, my compliments on the Reynolds car, I was so pleased to see it put back to the way it was then. I was even happier to see it end up in Wisconsin! I know your area well, have friends there, I've even considered relocating to the Mosinee area more than once, I've also been meaning to check out Rock Falls dragstrip, I noticed your snowmobile background, were you running Amsoil in you race sleds? Shane
Shane- Thanks for the kind words. Don't want to hijack this tread, so I'll try and keep it short. Yep, know all about b4b verses performer verses old style. :TU: I'm only interested in the original (old) style. I know your area well also...friends and family down there. If your looking for a job up here pm me. Yes, we were sponsored by Amsoil for one or two seasons. Had to cut the ratio back some, otherwise it would gum things up inside.
