backspace needed for these rims?

I have a '66 LeSabre and a buddy has just bought an Astro with (we think) 9.5x17 ARE Torq Thrust II's on it which have the 5 on 5" pattern of the Buick. He says "want them cheap?" so he can get some billets but he's 2+ hours away and my Buick is off the road for some work right now. He's going to get me the backspace info off the wheels.

I'm kinda expecting they won't fit, but I thought I'd ask anyway. I don't mind a slightly reduced turning arc on the fronts but obviously any interferance between the rubber and the lips on suspension travel is no good.

Rubber is 235/40x17 front and 245/40x17 rear. (which is why I reckon they're more like 8x17 not 9.5x17 but he could be right)

If they'd go on they'd look awesome. :)

What backspace will I need to get such a wide rim under the '66 Buick LeSabre?
