    Uncle Pauly SAY UNCLE!

O.K. here is what I know. The rims are 14x7 torque thrusters from the sixties, they have 70 series tires but the dude didn't know exactly what size. He had them last on a 79 Maliburp and before that on a 68 Camaro. I want to put them on a 65 skylark convertible with drum brakes all around. I can measure the backspacing or offset or whatever myself, right?(the distance from the back edge of the rim to the inner side of the mounting plate in the center?) Can someone tell me what number I need. Do I have any leeway? = or - how much? I'd hate to waste my money on these because I really don't have much left. You guys have been a great source of info, and I appreciate all your time and input. If I ever get my deal straight on this car I'll be sure to return the favor as my knowledge grows.

    Thanks again, Uncle
