meltoast writes "The trailer for the Batman Begins is available on the Warner Brothers website. Also check out the pictures of the new Batmobile on the same site. All I can say is holy big tires, Batman!" The Batmobile design is reminiscent of the one from Dark Knight Returns, but I think I prefer it over the one Adam West used to cruise around in.

The batmobile looks strange and the title is "begins" so I assume this is a Star wars type thing.

Them tires would be way to easy to shoot out front and back.

The cast look ho hum for a Batman movie. I hope its good.

But hope that campy style is dead from the last few.

Only one more year to wait..

I'm guessing that this version is going to focus more on *how* he became batman rather than just pass over it in between fight scenes like in each batman movie before it.

I don't know if I care for this batmobile though, each batmobile before it was stylish and sleek, this one looks like a reject from a cheap anime.

BTW, here's a video of the new batmobile being unveiled and here's a copy of the script already.

  4. Looks like it ought to have an attachment you can scoop up golf balls with on the driving range...

I kind of liked the Adam West version best, even if it did start life as a Lincoln Futura. Looked the most realistic / believable, and they had the best dubbed-in car sounds on that show. Especially when they hit the gas / jet fuel to peel out of the Bat Cave or go after Catwoman (who merited every burnout Batman stomped on that show).

Ah...Catwoman in her original role as a villainess. NOT Hollywood's newest twist to try and re-write into a hero via Halle Berry.

I dont care what anyone says, the TV series Batmobile is the greatest thing on 4 wheels in TV/movie history. With the only possible exception being the Green Hornets Black beauty.

    Kerry,
Hollywood didn't "twist" the story, and it's definitely NOT "new"!

Before Julie Newmar as the TV Series Catwoman, The ORIGIN of Catwoman, in EARLY Batman COMICS, she STARTED OUT as a "hero", and she even "teamed up" with Batman at one time, and then she turned into a Criminal, just to get "even" with Batman (because he p'd her off, or something).

More "useless trivia" that I know, for whatever reason.:Do No: :Smarty:

No substitute for the original Bat Mobile, if you ask me. I drove that thing many times as a kid. No substitute for the goddess in the first movie back in 89' to me. Mrs. Bassinger!!
