What gage wire is required for a trunk mounted battery 18 ft length ? Is there such thing as too big?
I am not sure of the size but, a friend of mine used welding cable for his trunk mounted battery. It was very flexable & easy to route. It is avaliable at any welding supply store.
Thanks Guys, I bought 1/0 welding cable & when I got home it looked huge & I thought it was better to ask then to install it & then find out ou:
the connection to the lug(terminal ends)is just as important as the size.crimp it with the proper cable crimper,or have it done.
