Battery hold down bracket 67 GS

Anybody have a photo of the correct brackets for a 67 GS battery.

They are missing on any of the cars I have seen.

Any extras lying around out there??


Any info appreciated.

Maybe I could win a car show with duct tape holding my battery down.

It seems that there are no 67's out there that still have a battery hold down remaining.

A photo or description would be nice.

 

I'm pretty sure I have the top piece and the hook. It looks the same as a NOS one on ebay a few months back so I take it is an orig..
I'll post a pic later.

I bought one from Cars that was for a 67. Have not used it. I did buy one from them for may 65 and it is OK. I can get the 67 out and take a picture and post it if that will help. Thanks Bill.

 

I'm pretty sure this is an orig.. My 67 GS is unmolested. The top piece on the right side hooks into the rad cradle.

This is the first one i have ever seen. It explains alot.

Would it be possible to get some dimensions? I plan to make one.

Total length of the arms and brackets and wire dia.

If I can get you any photos of my 67 GS for items you need to help let me know.

Scott I have any photo you would ever need for a 67GS conv. If you need any info just send a PM. Presently I have a GS400 4 speed vert #s matching. A very nice 67 vert Skylark and I am assembling a 600+ hp 464 for a 67 Special that will be ready for next Spring.
I'll try to send some pics. tonight with measurements. BTW there was one ebay a few months ago for $45.

Wow Bill. That looks like the exact one I have but new. The top measures 9 5/8 across and has a rubber coating on it. The other measures 9 1/8.
