Looking for a used set of 67-69 400 rods and pistons. Standard or oversized doesn't matter. Have a 68 400 block, crank and set of big port heads I'm trying to convince a friend to put in his 53 ford truck project (if they don't sell here...) Might make a good cheap substitute for the 383 he wants to put in it. Anybody have an unused set lying around? Thanks!
If boring oversize is an option, look for a set of used 430 pistons as well. The 400 can handle the 430 bore diameter with no problem. Devon
Thanks DaWildcat. So, I'll consider any pistons standard 400 to standard 430 and in between. All the rods are the same on 400-430-455 correct?
