After 3 tries at getting a leak free reman PS pump, all leaked at shaft when installed, I found, much to my surprise that a company called BBB Industries offers a brand new PS pump. Price was quite reasonable at $118 plus shipping from Partsgeek. As expected the pump is made in China but seems to be a good quality unit, based on the casting quality. It also includes a new pulley woodruff key, something the reman pumps do not have. Fit and function so far were no problem. I'll keep an eye on the shaft seal area to see if a leak develops anytime soon. Hopefully, the 4th time is a charm. Anyone who has had the pleasure of changing out one of these pumps knows how much fun it can be, what with 3 separate brackets and 9 fasteners, at least for AC equipped cars. I can do it with my eyes closed now.
