My name is John Csordas and many of you know me as the director of the Northeast GS/GN Club for the last 25 years or so. I am also the director of the Buick Performance Division of the BCA along with Ken Lisk as the assistant director. I just want to put a couple of questions out to the BCA members that visit the V8board. As you know the BCA Nationals will be outside of Cleveland Ohio next year and I was wondering if I setup a test-n-tune Friday night during the BCA Nationals, if any people are in favor of racing their Buick or at least attending to watch some Buicks run? The BCA wants the Performance Division to grow but I know it is difficult to have a race along with a huge car show when the show is not at a race track.
So if you could reply here,pm or email me (johncsordas@optonline.net) if you are interested in making a few passes down the track or at least coming to watch. If we could get 40 or 50 Buicks to agree to make some passes I will look into getting a couple of lanes for us either at Norwalk or Dragway 42.
The BCA has helped sponsor Buick Day at Lebanon Dragway near Albany, NY as well as the 23rd annual East Coast Regionals at Cecil County Dragway in Maryland which will be held Sept 20 & 21. If response is overwhelming we may even try a BCA track rental in the future.
There are not many all Buick racing events left to attend anymore so maybe we can get one going. Thanks for responding, John

Would love to go but due to the time of year these events are taking place my work will not allow the time off. For me it would be a 3-5 day venture.

If I am able to make the meet I will be at the race event. I remember going to the race event at the 100th anniversary. It was great.

John, I think 42 would be your best value for this as long as they didn't have something going that date. It's a nice track, hooks well, lots of staging, slightly less car count allowing more passes. It's just minutes off of I71

They both are about the mileage......about 55 miles each way

Norwalk does run a test and tune most fridays.......but I don't think I've ever seen them have lanes for clubs this way, but I have seen this on a thrusday test and tune at 42 b4

You know I will be there with a car for Concours, hotel reservations already made. Of course I'll come to the race as a spectator to support you and the BPG division.
