Ok Its not car related unless you think since it was killed with a car is close :blast:

Anyway My family has a rear bear skin rug (with head) killed in the 60s by a car, and we were trying to decide whether to sell it. Is there anywhere we could detirmine its value first?? Its a Colorado Brown bear if that matters...

There's an antique store in FTW that has 2 black bear rugs in nearly perfect shape. They wanted 850 and 1000.00. I guess that's a place to start, but so few of them show up, it's hard to know what to ask. Hope this helps. Dan

Mike, have you looked for others on e-bay?
Probably a dumb quesition as I typed it.
    I'm sure you have.
Maybe check the KC Star classifieds or other publications.
I'm sure a taxiderming service would have an idea.
Maybe even a fur place that cleans and winterizes furs.
We use Alasken Fur in town here.

Should be some info in their somewhere.
