Fred, you don't know me...yet, but my cousin sent me these pics from yesterday! He either had his MB SL convertible or Plymouth wagon. Told him about you buying this from Jason Cook. Very nice, enjoy!

Thanks, first official event for the "Beater". She got a lot of positive comments, and some others... Yes, saw the SL.

Hi Fred. I was the guy with the ponytail talking to you just before the rally started. There were at least 3 MB SL's there yesterday. Ours was the green one. I'm gsconv's cousin, Wil. I love The Beater! Best of luck with her! Hope to see you both at future shows/rallies! ☺️

funny you said that Pat, I have the same problem at work. people that take the short cut instead of spelling it out. I had an employee write up a cheat sheet for me, so I could understand what the heck they are talking about.

It took me having to ask what fiy, lmao, was i thought I was all caught up. Now their is a whole bunch of new ones. I think I would have gotten this MB SL if you left the MB off and just put the real badge from the car. Like SL 250. Or SL 500. I think if you look at one of the corners on the trunk it may be there. Haha. I would be tempted to remove the nums and add MB in front of SL.

No thanks. I am good. I get the terms. I don't get being so freaking lazy you can't take the time to spell. Let alone learn how to spell.

I'm 37 and we were taught cursive in school, weren't allowed to use calculators for math and used home or payphones up into my twenties before I got a cell phone. I've taught both my girls how to write cursive since the school board thinks it's not important anymore.
