Beauty 1968 442, 455, 51k miles $21,000

This car should NOT have a 455 from the factory, it should have a 400. What it actually has, nobody knows until they call or go see it in person. It is a great looking car either way, and a good deal I think. I really love the blue top, myself.

 

If it is matching numbers, it's one of the three 400s avail in 68. If it's a 455, it's not matching numbers.

 

Pity about the ugly front they put on em

 

Related to this question, I would think, would be why a 51K orig mile car would need a replacement engine. There could be an explanation, it's just a bit unusual.

I've replaced many engines that were running just fine

 

Hurst Olds’ 455s were factory installed but Olds lied about it and said the Hurst folks did it.

You have to purchase it to know what’s in it.

 

Looks like lot of blue overspray on the rubber trunk seal.
