I want to buy my boyfriend, Dan - the Chevy fanatic - the Ertl 1/18 scale '67 Impala, black on black. Ertl #ert33931. I've looked at a couple places, runs around $49. Looked on eBay, found one, wasn't sure about the seller.

Any recommendations on a reliable seller, reasonably priced?

Better yet, is there a model of a 67 Impala Convertible or 67 Chevy truck?

    Thanks!
    Ann

Annie, if you're looking for a "specific" car, that you can't find in stores, or is discontinued, usually the best deal you Will find one, is on Ebay!:Smarty: :bglasses:

Here on V8Buick, ToddsGS owns DiecastMusclecars.com! He has a couple of the '67 Impalas listed, but not the number you need. Contact him, he may be able to help you find one! :bglasses:

I'll look around and see what I can find, but Good Luck as you search, too.:TU: :beer

I live 1 hour from the ERTL Factory! If I get a chance, maybe they have some left over... :Brow: :Do No:

I've purchased stuff from diecastmusclecars.com, and I have always been well satisfied with the price and speedy delivery. One time, they inadvertently shipped me the wrong item, and they immediately worked to correct the mistake. I would highly recommend them.
I like them because they always have a lot of Buick stuff. Not very many places do that. And even if they have something that doesn't say Buick on it, it's still cool. Great variety.
Two thumbs up to diecastmusclecars.com! :TU: :TU:

Besides the Ertl 67 Impala in 1/18th scale the 67 Impala has been well done in lotsa scales. There is a new 1/64 version by a new company (I forget the name) thats in a four car set that is beautiful. It was also modeled in 1/25 scale by AMT/Ertl. And for the truly ambitious, Radio shack offered one in Huge 1/8th scale as a lowrider, but the body was so well done that a modeler of average skill could make it a real nice piece.

Also.....Dan is a great name. Hope he's good to you :TU:

    Thanks for the advice guys!

Unfortunately (perhaps fortunately??), I don't have to buy this present now. Just got the "Dear Ann" letter and the "I need time alone" speech. Go figure!

    Guess that's $50 I'll spend on myself!!

    Thanks again!
