Best on line, or brick and mortar place to buy a Q Jet carburetor rebuild kit? Extra things I should get in addition to the kit, i.e. a float, needls and seat etc. Thanks for any info.

    I've got a 71 carb from a 455 (7041540)

My favorite brand was Standard/Hygrade "Jiffy Kits". Any parts store that sells Standard Ignition should sell those carb kits.

The kit comes with needle 'n' seat, you might want to add a float. Verify that your choke pulloff diaphragm(s) work, or you'd want to order them, too.

The Echlin kits that NAPA sells are very high quality. They also have a very high quality brass replacement float that I would suggest purchasing.

    un-warping tool and bushing kit

www.mrqjet.com has the only un-warping tool and throttle shaft bushing kit which they introduced at SEMA last year. There's no need to try and rebuild a Q-jet without those items, because all Q-jets are warped and have loose shafts.
