Put the headlight trim rings back on. I pretty much destroyed the rusty one I took off to clean up the parts.... There are three each so I need 12 total.

What about the stainless screws for the headlight bezels as well.... I see a lot of kits on e bay but which one would be the best to cover all of these areas outside and inside the car.... Thanks in advance. Paul

I have never been able to find a substitute for the ring screws. The stainless bezel screws I go from AMK. The have ones that are very close. I can post part # later or you can check out the online catalog and match yours to the ones shown.

Dave, part number would help. I went to the web site and looked under 70 chevelle but could not come up with that tiny screw. Thanks.

That is some great pricing on all those items to restore your car. How much of the A body stuff from Chevelle is the same as Skylark? I'm guessing a lot.

May be able to help, I bought a box of auveco fasteners and have a bunch left over. I used these on the headlight bezels and all over the interior

Justin, I'm interested , what do you want for them? I take it you did not have any for the trim rings?

    Thanks. Paul

This is what I have, I used the long ones in the picture to secure the bezels. They are about a 1/4in shorter then factory, but I have had no issues. They are not stainless but you can have them. 8 screws right?

The 2 shorter ones I used all over the interior of the car, if these interest you then shoot me a PM and we'll chat

You can buy pan head stainless screws at the Borgs- Home Depot and Lowes. Just look for #6 or #8 screws in the pullout bins. If you want them to look like NOS, that's a whole different ball of wax. If you are looking for #4 screws (which I don't think those are), you can go to an electronics store like Radio Shack.

Paul, enough of Chevelle stuff is different not to be able to go buy listings for them...I think the part number for the headlight Bezels from AMK is
B-12149 on page #83 of their catalog. I Will double check my listing. These are stainless. Do not use asnything but chrome or stainless here or they will rust.

It could also be the screw listed above it. I will have to check. One is chrome and one stainless with chrome.

Steve, thanks for that hook up. I went ahead and purchased them. 2 bucks a pop.... At least they will be the right ones.

    Thanks all for responding.

I'm gonna have more questions so keep you eye out for me Buick brothers.

B-12149 from AMK are the bezel screws I used. They are chrome and 1 1/2" long.

Yes 2 bucks a piece is alot but if you want the correct ones it ok. This reproduction just became available recently. I searched for these a couple of years ago and found nothing had to use something close but not correct. i purchased these when i found them and replaced the others. Inline tube reproduces alot of great little parts not offered by anyone else.

Inline does have some good things but sometimes it can be incorrect. You need to do your research. I bought some tie rod connector screws from them and they were too small. Originals were 3/8" and they sell 5/16". They must have based these off replacements which were smaller. Also the Idler arm bolt set was wrong. The screws were too short and lower grade. The washers that came with them were too thin and will bend. The orignal washers were extra thick. I told them the screws were too short as you could barely get the nut on them. They told me my replacement idler arm was too thick. No, after checking it against the original with the calipers they were the same. So just be careful. Over all you have to know your own car as you can be sure others will not.
