    Chevy,
Well, he did get the fact it was built by GM correct. :Dou:
It looks more like a '73 to me.
    With a '71 trunklid.

A boat tail "fastback" huh? As opposed to what? The boat tail notch back?

And surely the 30 page photo album was not completely necessary...

It must be a '71 or '72 with a '73 Front end. The boattails on the 73s were no where near that drastic, the sheetmetal was completely different (bumper, trunklid, etc). Someone needs to figure out what they have before they try to sell it.

the 71 and 72 have the extended point on the bumper. the 73 lost that look.

Check this out. Here is what he says in an edit to the article:
"Riviera has been modified with the front clip off of a 1973. You can not tell it isn't original unless you know it isn't. "

I guess you wouldn't know it isn't an olds unless you knew it wasn't either huh:rolleyes:? And '71 vs '73 Rivieras are not easy to mistake each other as. Some people.:Dou:

    Chris and Phil,
Yeah your right! It is a '71 with a '73 front clip!
I didn't take the time to let all those photos load, I caught the louvers in the trunklid and grew impatient.
Why would you put the less desirable '73 front clip on?
( My apologies to owners of '73 Rivieras.:) )
