im in need of a nice, not cracked or broken fan shroud for a big buick. by big i mean rivi, cent and so on. big block car to replace mine. let me know what you got and how much. thx buickbert
it should work if the car came with a big block engine (455). would you happen to have any pics of it so i can compare to the one that i have in my car. mine is busted on the top, motor mount let go and the fan hit it :rant: the one that i am looking for is similar to the ones found in 71-72 rivi. it is slimmer then the ones found in 350 equipet cars. doesnt flush mount on top of the rad support, mounts to the leading side of the rad support tray. maybe this link will help. http://www.buickperformance.com/BBShrouds.htm buickbert
The 73 unit should mount, but FYI the 73 shroud has the overflow and windshield washer bottle moulded into the shroud.
Buickbert, Are you still looking for a 71 BBB 455 fan shroud? I have one that is in real nice shape - no cracks, chips for $110. Let me know and I can send pics for you!
