My V code resto-mod GS goes across Saturday night Lot 682. Anyone planning to be there please stop by and say hi. I'll be the guy next to the car with the worried look on his face.
Wow, very nice car there fellow Canuck...if i could sneak away from the wife for the weekend, I'd come and worry with you...i guess we're going to find out were the buick market is at. Good luck with the sale:TU: You looking to sell your 70 staged 4 gear X?:Brow:
There is no doubt I will be freaked the whole weekend but what can you do. My GSX Holy Grail is a couple of months from completion but something had to go to get it finished.Being the only 72 Stage 1 built to this level that I am aware of I am not sure if it will be a hit or not. It did very well on the show car circuit. Hopefullly some of the Buick guys will get to see this car in person before it sells. I drove it on the highway once and it scared me. It shifts into 5th gear at "N" which I think works out to 135-140 mph. When you open the headers people turn in droves and then plug their ears. All the things I expect from a Stage 1 but as much fun as that is the GSX comes first. I hope it is a Buick guy that buys it and more importantly I don't take a bath on the car. ray:
Buicks in no reserve auctions make me very nervous. But best of luck Dwane. It's a cool looking ride, and I know how competitive the ISCA shows are. DL
