I don't like it. On a white car I think it would look sweet. but blue on blue. not so much.
Find Mike's car from TA. It's linked with his posts. '70 GS350 ?? Blue & a vinyl top. I seriously considered changing mine to this scheme while it's apart.
im sorry i worded it wrong...i mean the color of the car...i understand theres only black or white vinyl tops avalible...if there was a tan i keep the top...but i think i should loose the moldings, cut the studs, and go from there....so a shade of blue or black...???
I'm certainly not one to talk about not being able to spell. Just don't want anyone looking for the wrong thing.:beers2:
When I googled Key Auto Tops it still came up. So no problem. I have sample coming from them. They say they have correct grain. Others I have gotten from places like Year One were to smooth.
Year One convertible tops are from KEE; would imagine the vinyl tops are also from the low bidder also. Top shop was not impressed with KEE top; have heard similar quality remarks on here about them also...
Top Shop wants you to buy their's Prpbably from them as well. Not many manuafacturers out there. I got Vinyl top from Year One sevreal Years ago and it is not same grain as Kee which has more correct grain. Ask for samples. With convert tops there are varying degrees of quality. Get the one that was original.
