blasted the firewall and dashboard- 63 Wildcat

    Finally, some progress on the Wildcat. I had the car flatbedded up to the sandblast shop. I had them strip the firewall and dashboard. It would have taken me forever to remove all the paint and rust from all the little corners and crevices of the firewall. $150. to get this done. They actually use coal dust to blast with. I am thrilled with the results.

    It is now. Floors were not so great When I got it.

    I really needed to get this blasted a while ago. I put i off it's just such a pain in the butt to get the car hauled up to the sand blast shop. I have to take a day off from work, and then leave early from work to go pick it up when it was done. I could never have done this good of a job at home with a small sand blaster. They have heavy duty commercial equipment.
