Does anyone have any idea whether or not GM still makes a blower motor for these cars? If so, is a factory unit the best choice? I've had to replace one of these already, just in the past few years, and the replacement hasn't logged a great deal of run time before beginning to make noise.

If the GM unit is no longer available or desirable, what's a dependable, heavy-duty choice? The car has A/C.

    Thanks in advance,

    Jamie,

Kenny as I recall there is a vent mod that must be made to the NAPA motor as it is not identical although it is a replacement.

Thanks for the replies. I really want to get a good unit so I don't have to go through the trouble of replacing it again soon. I hear GM A/C compressors are the best ones to get, if possible (new, not rebuilt). I thought blower motors might be the same way.

They are. Be sure to route the vent hose back to the case, as it is the cooling duct for the motor. Ray
