I was reading the Olympic Preview edition of Sports Illustrated on the plane the other yesterday, and in one of the swim team's member's biographies, it said his other passion was RESTORING HIS 1971 BUICK RIVIERA. I can't remember the name, now.

We gotta have a bunch of SI subscribers on here. So who can look up his name the fastest? We Buick guys need someone to root for.

(The guy probably has a blog we can find , so we can tell him about this site, too.)

    That's Ian Crocker:

"Crocker lists his 1971 Buick Riviera as one of his most prized possessions. He purchased the car after the Sydney Games while on a road trip in New Hampshire. The car has had few problems despite the swimmer's commute between Maine and Austin, and he happily notes that the car is rust-free despite being more than 30 years old. "All the guys in my family have always been big car fans," Crocker says. "My mom's brothers and my dad have always enjoyed cars, so I'm sure I got it from them."
