    What are the sizes (length, diameter and thread/inch)and finsish for the following bolts?

    9419029 Bolt
    9422232 Screw

    Also, what is the size (length, diameter and thread/inch) for the bolt that connects the oil pan pickup tube? I think I have them somewhere; but, I have to get other bolts so I might as well get those too.

    Thanks.

    Len,
    It would be nice if you listed where those particular bolts/screws were used.

    Duane;

    Of all people, I figured you would know off the bat where they went. They are for the inspection cover at the manaul transmission. I am trying to have all the parts ready to build the engine.

    Len, if you need a source for the hardware, visit

    Their pdf catalog does cross reference some GM part numbers, but you'll most likely have to match match your originals size and head type (if you have them) to their replacements. Also browse the Chevelle section, as you may find your bolt by application.
    Alot of neat stuff in their catalog!:TU:

    Len,
    To be honest I was willing to help, but really didn't want to look through all the pages in my 71 assembly manual until I found those part numbers.

    If you are talking about the screws that held on the 4-speed flywheel inspection covers I think they were black phosphate. I know they were for the automatics, maybe someone else will chime in.
