Hey Guys.Well..where to start!! First off, while Nathalie and I did not drive the GS down, she was there in "Buick Spirit" with all her BPG/V8 Board cousins!!! A special thanks to Jeff & Mary, the kids and "Nipper" for making us most welcome on our arrival late Friday afternoon. What was supposed to be a quick "Hello" before a drive to book a Hotel room turned into a very nice 5 hour visit with pizza, beer and some great company. Jeff took me out in the `Riv a few times. I must say that car is roomy, comfy seats, and rides so well without any rattles(pulls pretty good too!!)a true "Buick" in my eyes :TU: Since being on the V8 board for over 3 years, it was great to meet so many people and their cars. Ron,(even funnier in person!!) Larry(aka "The Wizard")can`t remember who started it but it works!! Kevin & Heather, Johnno & Paul, Al from MD, Doug, Rick, Duanne, Eric & his gal, John Schmidt. If I missed anybody, my apologies. I didn't meet everybody, but time was flying fast!!! Great cars, I saw so many things that I have not seen on my GS, certain trim, options etc.. It was great to have so many Buicks in one place!! Once again a big thanks to Jeff & Mary for putting on a great Picnic!!! I have some pics to post later(of the many we took) Later,Tony. p.s a note from my wife Nathalie: Thanks Mary and Jeff for being such great hosts and making us feel so welcomed! Too bad we couldn't stay longer, hopefully we can meet again! :beer
Tony, I have to agree with you. It was great to meet some more of the members here. I give Jeff alot of credit for having such a good event. I wish I had more room at my house to pull something off like that :beer . Bob
We made the trip and had a blast..Guys like Ron,Rick M,Doug H,Yardstick, and all of the new found friends we met were worth the trip.I will attend again but forgot to ask how much the price for the shirts...I let it slip and both Dustin and I should have bought one and we remembered them on the way home.Great friends and great time was had by all.!!!! Thanks again Yardley for the great day.. PS got about 20 digital pics, plus alot more on my 35mm camera if anyone's interested... Pat
Yardley's Bash Jeff thanks so much for makiing this event happen! :beer The neat thing is every time I go I see and meet more club member and can match the names to more and more members. The only problem we had was 95N around Chester on the run back but the great time had at Yardley's made that problem fade no to mention when you have 2 or more big block Buicks running down 95 :3gears: , Bill's first words to me was keep it under 80mph because I have a slight vibration over that :3gears:  . To all the V8 Buick Guys Your The Best!!!! :TU: AL IDOXLR8 :beer
You are all always welcome, and I will gladly host the event again and again. I don't mind at all. It seems a little south for most who attended, but if you don't mind driving I certainly don't mind hosting! AND THE SHIRTS, AS ALWAYS, ARE FREE!!!!!!!!!! I was telling everyone I could to remember to take one. I have a couple left. Alan Wander and Marco get one, and other than that I may have 3 2XX left over. Send me an address and I'll ship them off... unless you'll be in Salem, in which case I'll just bring them there.
Hey Bob.Yea,It was a good time for sure!! I think your one of the guys I forgot to mention ou: Did you ever get to Applebees (sp)?? Good meeting you!! :TU: Later,Tony.
Al.Good to meet you!! :TU:I enjoyed bench racing while looking over your knock out 72 Stage.I must be impartial to 72`s with 4-speed  Later,Tony.
Buick Power Tony, ditto on that!!! :3gears: I have got a lot of information being involved in these cars over the last almost 30 years and would gladly help if you have questions :Smarty: . As far as my involvement in 72s I was a 70 lover then time went by and I wanted a 4-Speed GS and a 72 came available and since I've owned this one I have learned there are some things improved over the 70, bumper design, engine designed to run on todays fuels and the 455 oiling much improved, just to mention a few. AL. :beer :TU:
Jeff, thank you again. had a great time and like everybody there I made some new life long friends..See you at EnglishTown!! Pete

IT'S NOT MINE!  Going to try to make it to Salem. Thanks again to Yardley for hosting.
