I have a 1969 buick skylark with a 350-2. I'm adding a brake booster for better braking. I don't know where I should add the vacuum line on the intake manifold. If someone can help me out and show me where to install that would be great.
I should have mentioned, I have a 2 barrel Rochester. I don't have any extra vacuum ports. I could T it off but would it be enough vacuum?
The vacuum line is connected to the intake manifold AKA fittings shown in pictures, contact Todd GS he’ll probably have everything you need to do the job, right. 350 and 455 are basically the same set up on the intake.
If it has manual brakes from the factory, there will be a plugged port on the intake manifold where the others have pointed out the location. Should be a square top plug.
Are you adding a new master cylinder too? Pushrod? Did you buy a kit? These components work together as a system. What brakes do you have now? Manual drums work pretty well if they are in decent shape and adjusted correctly. Adding a booster only makes the pedal softer. won't help with bad brakes...

I have manual drums and they are in good shape. I'm just trying to get a softer pedal. And yes I bought a kit with the pushrod and other components.
